Repair Process

This topic describes the Migrator’s repair process.

The repair process occurs during the Staging phase. During this process, if an object is required by the study design but missing from the source data mapping configuration, the Migrator automatically generates said object.

The Migrator repairs missing objects at the following levels:

• Event Groups
• Events (non-dynamic only)
• Forms (non-dynamic and non-repeating only)
• Item Groups (non-repeating only)
• Items

The following rules apply to repaired objects:

• The Migrator does not apply attributes (such as SDV, FREEZE, LOCK, or ILB) directly or indirectly to repaired objects.
• You cannot reference a repaired object in the Attributes CSV file.
• Repaired objects are inserted as placeholders, and require review by the migrator.
